About Us & Our
British White Cattle Farm
We are active members of the British White Cattle
Association of America, 20 year member, and invite you to join us in this excellent association. A great group
of members always ready and willing to help a fellow cattle breeder and have fun doing it.
We have always tried to attend most all British White Cattle Association
functions whether sponsored by individual breeders or the Association. Always have fun and get to meet new folks
every time. We challenge you to join in and do the same.

A Norman Yordi bred British White Bull.
We called this one Junior but officially he was Mr NOY 6F
We were introduced to British White Cattle by a Noble Foundation Livestock
Specialist by the name of Shan Ingram. The Noble Foundation is located in Ardmore, Oklahoma about one and a half
hour drive from us. On occasion I would drive up for a visit and usually get stuck for lunch and on one such trip
Shan rushed us through lunch so he could take us on an unannounced field trip. Never would tell me where we were
going or what we would see.
Shan was somewhat of a practical joker and loved to get on me about my
breed of cattle at the time. I was just fresh back from the Denver, Colorado National Western Stock Show
and was lucky enough to have shown the Grand Champion Purebred Chianina bull. This little bull was only 73 inches
tall at the hips and weighed a little over 3700 pounds. Never did figure out why Shan though that was too
big.
Back to the field trip. We drove up to a British White Cattle breeder's pasture,
the owner was no where around but Shan assured us we were welcome trespassers. Three of us, all
complete strangers walked out into the herd of 30 or so British White Cattle and they never made any attempt
to run or get away from us. Just as happy to see us as if we were old friends. That really got my attention and
within a few years time I had managed to acquire that entire herd. To this day I wish I had the selection abilities
of that owner. Norman Yordi I thank you for getting me started with some good quality Britsh White cattle.
Well that was then and now 20 years later we have nothing but British White
Cattle in our pastures. As to those initial quality cattle, we have gone pretty well full circle and are back where
we started. Our current and probably the best herd sire ever to rome our pasture is a bull name JWest's W.W.
Doc, BWCAA registration number 9857. Doc's mother's sire was a bull we bought from Norman. His name was Mr. NOY 7F.
All of Norman's cattle were named either Ms Noy or Mr Noy. Again it is time to say thank you to Norman O Yordi. And
to make things even better Norman and I discovered we had both worked for the same company many years earlier.
